Samsung has announced a new smartphone that will come with a waterproof casing, as well as a weather-resistant design.
Samsung says that its new phone will come in two versions, a basic version that comes with the Galaxy S6 Edge+, which features a 5.5-inch screen and the Exynos 7420, a Snapdragon 835 SoC.
In addition to the new smartphone, the company also launched the Exymotion 3, a wearable with an 8MP camera and a 5MP sensor.
The company has already released a waterproof version of its Galaxy S5, the Galaxy Note5, and a waterproof model of the Galaxy Tab S, but the new Samsung smartphone, which is said to be the world’s first, will come pre-loaded with both of the Exylos 7480 chips.
This new smartphone will come to market later this year, Samsung says.
It will come as the flagship model of a new range of smartphones, the S7 Edge.
In terms of hardware, the Samsung S7 and S7 edge will be powered by the ExYNOS 7480, which was released earlier this year.
Both phones will come on a 5mm metal chassis that Samsung says is very strong.
There will be two battery options, a 3000mAh one and a 5000mAh one.
The S7 will come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC, while the S6 and S6 edge will have the Snapdragon 830 and Snapdragon 828 SoC options.
The phones will also come with an AMOLED screen, and will come bundled with Samsung’s new “OneCore” SmartGlass.
