The CW has released a sneak peek at the series “Spectrum Live,” a live television show that will debut in 2019 on the NBCUniversal-owned cable network.
The CW describes the series as follows: The cast and crew of “Spectre Live” will reunite for one of the most ambitious television projects of all time, and the new season of “Reba” will be a unique live experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen.
The series will debut on the first Sunday of each month at 8:30 p.m.
ET on NBCUniversal’s CW, beginning with the premiere of the season premiere episode.
“Spectral” will follow “Rebe” star Liza Campbell (Sandra Oh) as she returns to a life as a musician and the spotlight as a new star on Broadway, while “Rebar” star Rachel Blanchard (Chloe Sevigny) and “Re-Bar” star Sarah Zusman (Chad) are both returning as stars on the “Rebs” spinoff series.
“Rebeca” stars Vanessa Feltman as a troubled teen and Michael McKean as her brother, who has just been arrested for killing a family friend.
“Sara” star Michaela Watkins (Viola Davis) returns to her hometown of New York City as a struggling writer and her sister, the acclaimed director Michaela (Cynthia Nixon), takes a stand for her freedom.
“Spontaneous” star Melissa Rauch stars as an aspiring writer who falls for the director of her favorite film, “Battleship,” and is drawn back to the town where she was raised to live with her parents.
“The Real,” which chronicles a New York Times bestselling memoir, “The Price,” follows a woman who becomes a star in Hollywood and discovers the true power of her creative gifts.
“Renaissance,” which is inspired by the life of Renaissance painter René Magritte, stars Taron Egerton, Matt Damon, Rachel Weisz, Sam Waterston, and others.
“Star” and “Bachelor” star James Marsters, “Gotham” and “‘House of Cards'” star Robin Wright, and “The O.C.” star/producer Jim Parsons also star in the series.
